The backstory
Zuplo is an API gateway you configure in TypeScript rather than YAML, with rate limiting, key management and a generated developer portal at the edge. Free gateways ship with every cloud, so the low end is hard. Its opening is that APIs are now consumed by agents as much as by humans, which raises the stakes on rate limiting, per-key quotas and machine-readable documentation, and makes the MCP-shaped surface it invested in a genuine differentiator.
