The backstory
Womp made 3D modelling feel like play, with a soft-body metaball approach that lets someone with no CAD background build something presentable in an afternoon. Its whole premise was lowering the skill barrier, and text-to-3D models lowered it further by removing the modelling step entirely. Womp retains the people who want to shape something deliberately rather than roll the dice on a prompt, which is a smaller and more loyal group than the one it was originally chasing.
