Keep paying — Google has not replaced it

The backstory
WHOOP sells a strap and a subscription that turns heart rate variability, sleep and workload into daily recovery and strain guidance. AI health coaching from the big platforms interprets similar data with stronger models and lower prices. WHOOP survives because the moat is the sensor and the longitudinal record it produces: a coach with no data to coach on is a chatbot, and the athlete community keeps the score itself culturally valuable.
