The backstory
vidIQ helps YouTubers with keyword research, title coaching and analytics on what performs. The data side, what topics and formats actually drive views, is still proprietary and genuinely useful. But the coaching layer, generating titles, descriptions and hooks, is exactly what a chatbot now does for free. vidIQ is wounded because that advice half of the product has been commoditized, while the performance data that a model can't fabricate keeps it relevant. Creators pay less for suggestions and more for the signal on what works.
