The backstory
TurboLearn ingests a recorded lecture, textbook chapter or video and returns formatted notes, flashcards and quizzes for revision. It was a well-packaged prompt chain aimed at students who would pay ten dollars to skip note-taking. Google gives that whole pipeline away, including audio overviews and quiz generation, from a free product with a much larger context window. Student software cannot win a price war against free.
