The backstory
Tolgee's contribution to localisation is in-context editing: click a string in the running application and translate it there, rather than editing a spreadsheet of keys with no idea where they appear. Machine translation is essentially free now, which collapses the cost of the translation itself. What remains expensive is context, review and keeping hundreds of strings synchronised across releases, and Tolgee sells that workflow rather than the words.
