The backstory
Testim sold AI-assisted, self-healing UI tests — record a flow, and machine learning keeps the selectors working as the UI changes. Computer-use models attack that from a different angle entirely: they read the rendered page, decide what to click, and rewrite the test when it breaks, without a proprietary recorder. Tricentis acquired Testim; the standalone premium is hard to defend.
