Terraform
Infrastructure as code tool that provisions and versions cloud resources through declarative HCL.

Downgrade — pay for the workflow, not the AI

The backstory
Terraform describes cloud infrastructure as code and reconciles it with a plan-and-apply loop. Knowing HCL and provider quirks used to be the hard part, and Codex-class models now emit workable configurations from a sentence. That erodes the expertise premium and the paid features aimed at authoring help. State management, the provider registry and drift detection still matter, so the core survives while the surrounding value shrinks.
