Tana is an AI-native outliner where supertags turn plain notes into a structured knowledge graph, so a meeting note can also be a queryable database entry. ChatGPT memory can recall facts, but it doesn't give you a structured, queryable graph of your own knowledge and workflows. Tana survived because that structured graph plus flexible automation is far more than a chatbot remembering things, and power users build real systems on it.
