The backstory
SwaggerHub hosted OpenAPI definitions with versioning, mocking and style enforcement. Every one of those jobs is now something a model does on request: generate the spec from code, lint it against a style guide, produce a mock server, write the client. The rise of MCP as a way to expose tools to models further reduced the ceremony around API description formats.
