Keep paying — OpenAI has not replaced it

The backstory
Statsig combines feature flags, A/B testing and product analytics behind one warehouse-native pipeline. Models can write an experiment readout, but they cannot run the sequential testing, variance reduction and exposure logging that make results trustworthy. Serving flags reliably at request time is infrastructure work, not a prompt. That plumbing is why engineering teams keep it.
