The backstory
Rybbit is an AGPL-licensed analytics platform that bundles cookieless tracking, live visitors, session replay and Web Vitals. It picked up traction fast on GitHub as a self-hostable answer to Google Analytics. The problem is that Microsoft gives away replay and heatmaps for free and Google now writes the analysis for you. Rybbit survives on self-hosting and data ownership rather than on features nobody else has.
