The backstory
Octolane AI, a Y Combinator company, attacks the oldest complaint in sales software: the CRM is a database that reps have to feed, and they do not feed it. Its pitch is a CRM that enriches records, scores leads and takes the next action on its own. Salesforce and HubSpot are shipping the same idea from a position of owning the data already, which is the fight. A greenfield product can be genuinely agent-native rather than agent-retrofitted, and that architectural difference is visible to anyone who has used both.
