The backstory
Music.AI is the developer-facing side of the company behind Moises, selling stem separation, key and tempo detection, mastering and voice conversion as APIs to music platforms rather than to musicians directly. Open-source separation models exist and work, which caps what anyone can charge a hobbyist. Selling infrastructure to the streaming services, DAW makers and karaoke apps who need it embedded is the durable half of that market.
