The backstory
Mailgun is a sending API that handles routing, inbound parsing, list validation and the endless work of staying out of spam folders. Writing the integration code was never the hard part, so AI coding help changes little. What matters is IP reputation, provider relationships and delivery analytics accumulated over a decade. That is infrastructure, and infrastructure does not get prompted away.
