The backstory
Linearity, previously Vectornator, offers professional vector design and motion on Apple devices at a fraction of Illustrator's cost, with a genuinely good iPad experience Adobe has never quite matched. Generative tools threaten the tasks where the output is disposable. What they do not threaten is deliberate vector work with exact control, and Linearity's animation product extends the same precise editing into motion, which generators handle very poorly.
