why this verdict
Downgrade — pay for the workflow, not the AI
HackerRank and Codeforces cover the headline feature free, so the $35/mo is now paying for the workflow around it.
- A named launch, not a vibe named, unlinked

The backstory
LeetCode's business rests entirely on companies interviewing with algorithm puzzles, a practice AI has made close to indefensible: models solve the entire catalogue instantly, remote candidates can use them undetected, and firms have shifted toward system design, take-home projects and in-person sessions. Grinding problems still builds real skill, and the specific ritual LeetCode monetises is being deliberately dismantled by the companies that created it.
