The backstory
Langflow lets people assemble retrieval and agent pipelines by dragging nodes, which is an excellent way to understand what a chain does and a difficult way to run one in production. Almost every team that starts here graduates to code once versioning, testing and error handling matter. Its acquisition by DataStax gave it resources and an enterprise home, and the fundamental tension between visual convenience and production rigour has not been resolved by anyone.
