Koyeb
Serverless platform for running containers and inference workloads at the edge.
why this verdict
Downgrade — pay for the workflow, not the AI
Cloudflare Workers covers the headline feature free, so the $29/mo is now paying for the workflow around it.
- A named launch, not a vibe named, unlinked
- Vercel, Cloudflare and Fly bundling edge compute and GPU inference into platforms teams already pay for. OpenAI, August 12, 2025 — no announcement link recorded yet.

The backstory
Koyeb offers global serverless containers with scale-to-zero and GPU inference, a genuinely good technical package for latency-sensitive AI apps. Its difficulty is positioning rather than engineering: Cloudflare, Vercel and Fly reach the same developers through products they already use, and inference increasingly happens at a model provider rather than on rented GPUs. Koyeb keeps teams who want one bill for web services and inference in the same regions, which is a real but narrow lane.
