The backstory
JSFiddle was the default way to reproduce a front-end bug or share a working snippet in a forum thread, with four panes and a shareable link. Its two jobs were running a small piece of code and passing it to someone else. Claude Artifacts renders generated markup live inside the conversation, and most bug reproduction now happens by describing the problem to a model. StackBlitz and CodeSandbox took the heavier projects. The middle ground disappeared.
