Keep it for the workflow, not the AI

The backstory
Hasura's promise was that pointing it at a Postgres database produced a production GraphQL API in minutes, skipping weeks of resolver code. That value was denominated in developer hours, which have collapsed in price: an agent now writes a tailored API almost as fast, without the runtime dependency, the licence, or the generated schema no one loves. Hasura's move into a data supergraph for AI agents is a genuine second act, but the original wedge is largely gone.
