The backstory
HARPA AI is an extension that combines a chat sidebar with commands that click, scrape and monitor pages for you. Its edge was gluing a language model to browser actions before the models could act on their own. Agentic browsing from the frontier labs now drives the page directly, handles logins and multi-step tasks, and needs no command library. The scripting layer HARPA sold has been absorbed into the model.
