The backstory
SlidesAI was a Google Slides add-on that generated slides from text, charging for the convenience. Then Google built Gemini directly into Slides, which does the same generation natively with no third-party install. Once the host app offers the feature for free inside the product, there's no reason to add and pay for a bolt-on. It's killed because the add-on's only job was filling a gap that the platform has now closed itself.
