The backstory
AlsoAsked scrapes the People Also Ask boxes for a query and lays the follow-up questions out as a tree. It was a neat, cheap tool for planning content clusters. Chatbots now produce comparable topic trees for free, and AI answers are eating the search results the tool depends on. Both its input and its output have been commoditised at once.
