Airtable is a database-spreadsheet hybrid where teams build custom apps, trackers and workflows without code. Claude can analyze and structure raw data on demand, which sounds like the same job. But the value of Airtable is the structured, shared database your team actually operates in day to day, plus its automations, views and hundreds of integrations. It added AI as a field type rather than being replaced by one, so the model rides on top of the workspace instead of replacing it.
