The backstory
InDesign handles master pages, style hierarchies, colour separation and imposition for print. No chat product touches that. The layout jobs AI absorbed were the ones InDesign was overkill for anyway — a one-page flyer, a social graphic. For books, magazines and catalogues, InDesign survived without a scratch.
